Daily High Notes 27th March

Daily High Notes 27th March

At the end of a busy and ultimately very unusual term, I would like to take this opportunity to thank our wonderful staff for their dedication, enthusiasm and good humour which ensures that Derby High is a happy and secure community for our children to develop their talents and skills.

This is an Easter break like no other, especially as families are unable to meet up with friends and relatives to celebrate. School will continue to remain open for the children of key workers who have registered with us throughout the holiday period, supervised by our staff - thank you very much to the teachers and teaching assistants who have been very generous with their offers of help to create a rota.

We have collated here a range of possible fun activities to give our families ideas for the next 3 weeks. Please continue to share ideas with us and we can pass them on.

I will be in contact again before April 20th, when the Summer Term is due to start to give updates on our educational provision from that point. I will also communicate any details about the awarding of GCSE and A level examination grades as soon as they are published.

I would like to thank you all for your continued positive messages and unwavering support during this difficult time for all families.

Best Wishes
