Daily High Notes 26th March

Daily High Notes 26th March

It’s been another glorious day of sunshine. We’ve received lots of good news stories and positive comments over the last 24 hours from students and parents. Here are a few comments below:

“Our Children have been enjoying and trying a lot of new things at home”

“Dear Teachers - Thank you so much, my daughter really enjoys doing her school work. She goes to bed on time and wakes up on time – shower, PE, school work etc ! Sticking to her school routine and loves it”

“Thank you Chaplain Jo. Wonderful words of wisdom”

“You teachers are amazing! Our daughter is ecstatic this morning that her work has been put up on the notice board by her teacher xx Thank you”

"Thank you for all the daily updates you are sending our son. He looks forward to hearing from his teachers and Purple Mash is a great way to keep the children engaged with school"

Please do keep sending pictures of work in, or email stories and poems.

Clap For Our Carers

You may have seen in the news that “Clap For Our Carers” is taking place tonight at 8pm. This is an event to demonstrate the public’s appreciation for everything NHS workers are doing. The organisers are asking as many people as possible to get involved by applauding either outdoors or through open windows at 8pm. Please do share this message so word spreads. It would be great if all the Derby High community could get involved.

Here’s an article explaining in more detail – click here.

Don’t forget, if you decide to share images of your applause please use hashtag #clapforourcarers and add @DerbyHighSchool into your post.

Best wishes,
