Daily High Notes 25th March
In my assemblies, I often talk to Primary about the weather and how it can affect our mood. We have been very lucky this week (and the forecast suggests this will continue) as the sun has shone brightly. I do hope that many of you have been able to benefit from this boost. Here’s a wonderful picture from one of our Year 5 pupils, who was able to draw this outside.
Pastoral care of our pupils is very important to us, and now, more than ever, we know how important it is that we support our pupils during these challenging times. If you are concerned about the wellbeing of your son or daughter please do get in touch with their class teacher or tutor.
I hope we are all settling well into this very different routine. We continue to enjoy seeing the work our pupils are producing and the activities they are getting up to.
With the end of term fast approaching, it is important to note that we will not be setting work for the three week break. Staff and pupils need a rest. However, I am very aware, this holiday will be unlike any other when families would normally go away or go on day trips, keeping the family busy. I will talk in my High Notes on Friday about things you might want to do over the Easter break. If anyone has any suggestions they would like to share please email me, firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject “Easter Break”.
