What a busy week we have had! Yesterday Primary took part in the Young Minds, Hello Yellow day to recognise the importance of supporting our mental health. It was wonderful to see the variety of yellow outfits and accessories all the children and staff wore.

Derby High School has welcomed boys to its Senior School for the first time in its 127-year history.

Boys already attended the school’s Primary Department and from this month (September 2019) they were able to join in Year 7 and the Sixth Form. The boys in the Sixth Form are acting as mentors for the boys in Year 7.

Derby High School is celebrating its best ever set of GCSE results today

An unprecedented 50% of entries achieved grades 8 and 9 (previously graded A*), with 72% of all entries awarded grades 7-9 (A and A*).

U6 Celebrate Excellent A Level Results

Derby High students are celebrating an excellent set of results for this year’s A level students with two thirds of grades at A*-B, and 38% at A*-A.

Go4Set Celebration

34 of our Year 9 students attended the Go4SET celebration and assessment day at Pride Park Stadium. This is a culmination of a 10 week project concerned with using engineering solutions to deal with environmental issues such as sustainable waste management, transportation and leisure.

City Sports 2019

It was a very exciting day yesterday for our top Year 7 track and field athletes as they went to Moorways Stadium to compete in the City Sports Championships. The students were competing against athletes from 16 other schools in the area, so the competition was really tough!

Rounders Tournament Win!

The sun was shining as we competed against five other local schools. Our team were all excited to begin the festival having trained hard at Rounders Club.
