On the last day of term, the results of the School Photography competition were announced. Around 50 entries were received on the theme of ‘Hidden Worlds’, which had been set by Charlotte Pickering (L5 Art and Design Scholar). Several students and staff received highly commended and the standard of entry was very high, with some very clever interpretations.
In joint third place were Lyebah (L5) for her view across the park at ground level and Eleanor (L5) for her view of the inside framework of a building. In second place was Emma (U4) for her view from the inside of a tunnel in Calke Park. The winner was Orla (U5) for her view of a Delhi stairway and the surrounding cityscape. The staff winner was Mrs Goodman, for her view of a door leading to a hidden world.
Congratulations to all who took part, it was good to see experimentation and creativity in the entries this year.
